Power outage planned in north Lethbridge December 6, 2023

LETHBRIDGE, AB – A power outage is planned in north Lethbridge this week.

On Wednesday, December 6, 2023, between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., crews will be upgrading power lines along 14 Street and 15 Street North between 7 Avenue and 8 Avenue North.

The City of Lethbridge said the outage is expected to take about 7.5 hours, weather permitting.

Officials have advised that during an outage, garage doors do not work, so residents are encouraged to remove their vehicle from their garage prior to the outage.
