Lethbridge Police searching for assault suspect following no-show in court

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect in connection to an assault.

Police say the case is in relation to an incident from 2021 where a 16-year-old boy was assaulted.

Jason Rodney Lewis, 40, of Lethbridge, was charged.

According to the LPS, “Lewis has failed to attend court in relation to the matter on multiple occasions and warrants have subsequently been issued for his arrest. Police efforts to locate Lewis have been unsuccessful.”

Anyone who has information on his whereabouts is asked to call LPS at 403-328-4444 and reference file 21008274. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at p3tips.ca.
