Lethbridge County food bank fundraiser collects over $2,000 in donations

LETHBRIDGE COUNTY, AB – An initiative out of Lethbridge County raised over $2,000 for area food banks. The Frozen Food Bank Fundraiser was ongoing from November 1 to 30, 2023.
It supported the Coaldale Food Bank and the North County Interfaith Outreach Society in Picture Butte. In total, Lethbridge County said the campaign raised approximately $2,300, with $1,000 of that total donated from the Town of Coaldale and its council.
Those who donated were eligible to enter to win a chance to dunk Reeve Tory Campbell in a dunk tank. Campbell’s plunge took place on December 7 to mark the wrap-up of the fundraising campaign.
