LETHBRIDGE, AB – There are plenty of events to check out in Southern Alberta this week, and Lethbridge News Now has you covered with the details.

Lethbridge Hurricanes vs. Swift Current Broncos

The Lethbridge Hurricanes host the Swift Current Broncos on Friday. The Hurricanes are looking to come back from a 3-1 loss to the Saskatoon Blades last Friday. The game starts at 7:00 p.m.

Glow Lethbridge – November 23 – December 31, 2023

Lethbridge’s holiday light celebration is at the Lethbridge & District Exhibition Agri-food Hub and Trade Centre. Glow Lethbridge features lights in the form of landmarks like the London Bridge, Taj Mahal and Eiffel Tower, as well as a scavenger hunt, music and treats. More information can be found here.

Interfaith Food Bank Market – December 9, 2023

The Interfaith Food Bank is hosting their Christmas Market on Saturday. The market will feature many local vendors, including food, woodwork, jewelry and other items. It begins at 10 a.m. and runs until 4 p.m.

Attridge Light Display – December 9, 2023

The Attridge Light Display is running every Saturday until December 23 at 1803, 14 Ave N. All proceeds from the event will go to Interfaith Food Bank. At the event, there will be hot chocolate, a fire and a movie playing.

Nikka Yuko Winter Light Festival – November 30 – February 24

Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden in Lethbridge is hosting its eighth annual Winter Light Festival. This year, the festival will have a ‘Celebration of the Seasons’ theme. The festival’s opening night is Thursdays, and will be open Thursdays through Sundays in November and December.

Deutsche Weihnachtslieder – December 10, 2023

Immanuel Lutheran Church hosts German Christmas Service Deutsche Weihnachtslieder on Sunday to raise funds for the Interfaith Food Bank. The event begins at 2:00 p.m., and features traditional German carols, along with refreshments.
