Lethbridge Police looking for public’s help in hit and run investigation

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is asking for the public’s help in a hit and run investigation.

On November 28, 2023 at approximately 5:20 p.m., a pedestrian was walking westbound across 13 Street South at 5 Avenue South on a marked crosswalk with the overhead lights flashing.

A white car or smaller SUV was travelling northbound on 13 Street and struck the pedestrian, who suffered a broken leg as a result of the collision. Police said the driver of the vehicle made no attempt to stop.

They are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or has dashcam footage to contact LPS at at 403-328-4444 and reference file 23027614.
