LETHBRIDGE, AB – As we get closer to Christmas, there are plenty of events in Lethbridge, and Lethbridge News Now has the details.

Battle of the Sticks – December 18, 2023

A friendly ringette game to benefit the Interfaith Food Bank takes place in Lethbridge on Monday night. The U19 Rattlers face off against the U18 Hurricanes at Henderson Arena in the 4th Annual Battle of the Sticks from 8:15 to 9:15. The goal of the event is to fill a car with food bank donations.

Stars On Ice Holiday – December 19, 2023

The ENMAX Centre is holding Stars on Ice Holiday on Tuesday. Canadian figure skater Elvis Stojko is hosting the event, which also features multiple other olympic and wold championship medalists. The event begins at 7:00 p.m., and tickets can be found here.

Elf: The Musical – December 14 – 31, 2023

Elf: The Musical began its run at the Yates Memorial Theatre on December 14, 2023, and will run until New Years Eve. The show is based on the 2003 Will Ferrell starring film Elf, and follows Buddy, a human raised by elves at the North Pole who travels to New York in search for his dad. Tickets for Elf: The Musical can be found at the New West Theatre website.

Glow Lethbridge – November 23 – December 31, 2023

Lethbridge’s holiday light celebration is at the Lethbridge & District Exhibition Agri-food Hub and Trade Centre. Glow Lethbridge features lights in the form of landmarks like the London Bridge, Taj Mahal and Eiffel Tower, as well as a scavenger hunt, music and treats. More information can be found here.

Nikka Yuko Winter Light Festival – November 30 – February 24

Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden in Lethbridge is hosting its eighth annual Winter Light Festival. This year, the festival will have a ‘Celebration of the Seasons’ theme. The festival’s opening night is Thursdays, and will be open Thursdays through Sundays in November and December.
