Lethbridge Police charge man in connection with stabbing at northside lounge

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) has charged 33-year-old Bisrat Seyum Hailu in connection to a stabbing a few months ago.

The reported incident took place at the Afro Habesha Lounge on October 29, 2023.

Hailu is charged with assault causing bodily harm and assault with a weapon.

The LPS said that the suspect and victim were known to each other and that the attack was targeted.
