Lethbridge Salvation Army exceeds fundraising goal

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The annual Christmas Kettle Campaign was a success for the Salvation Army in Lethbridge. It raised nearly $30,000 more than its fundraising goal.

From November 23, 2023, until December 23, seven Christmas kettles were set up across the city. The campaign raised $128,678.31 over the month-long initiative.

Lieutenant Zach Marshall, Community Ministries Officer with the Salvation Army in Lethbridge, said, “We are completely blown away by the generosity and support of the people of Lethbridge. Our community has come together to ensure that we can continue in our mission of giving hope today.”

The organization said the money raised will help programs like the Toys for Tots Campaign, and various community-oriented initiatives that foster unity and support in Lethbridge.
