LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes continued dealing at the trade deadline, acquiring forward Hayden Pakkala from the Prince Albert Raiders.

In return, the Hurricanes sent a third-round draft pick in the 2027 Western Hockey League (WHL) Prospects Draft.

The 2004-born center began his time with the Raiders in the 2021-22 season, and has put up 23 goals and 36 assists in 166 regular season games for them.

Hurricanes General Manager Peter Anholt said, “He’s a good two-way centre who gives us another left shot in the middle and is a strong penalty killer with the ability to help offensively.”

The trade was the second of the day for Lethbridge after acquiring defenceman Braeden Wynne.
