LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge College Kodiaks have named their student-athletes of the week for January 9-15, 2024.
Drayden Walburger played in his first post-secondary games over the weekend. He helped the men’s basketball team split games with the Red Deer Polytechnic (RDP) Kings.
On January 12, 2024, Walburger scored 11 points and grabbed six rebounds in the Kodiaks’ 89-75 loss. In a 101-87 win over RDP on January 13, the first-year from Magrath scored 25 points. He also secured nine rebounds in the victory.
Hannah Helton has been named the female student-athlete of the week. The fifth-year competes for the women’s basketball team, who also split their weekend series with the RDP Queens.
