Lethbridge Police arrest two in connection to stolen vehicle

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) has charged two people after they found them in an alleged stolen vehicle.

On Wednesday, January 17, 2024, members of the LPS’ Crime Suppression Team stopped a vehicle that they believed was stolen, after an officer spotted it in south Lethbridge.

Police say one occupant attempted to flee on foot and was apprehended, while the other was arrested without incident. Police also recovered a stolen licence plate from the vehicle.

The two suspects are facing charges, and reportedly both had outstanding warrants.
