LETHBRIDGE, AB – There are plenty of events in Lethbridge, this weekend, and Lethbridge News Now has the details.

Lethbridge College Kodiaks basketball games – January 20, 2024

The Lethbridge College Kodiaks basketball teams play at home this weekend, hosting the Briercrest Clippers. Friday night’s games begin at 6 p.m. for women’s, and the men’s team starts at 8 p.m. They then follow that up with games on Saturday at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Alberta Food & Beverage Expo – January 20, 2024

The Alberta Food & Beverage Expo takes place on Saturday at the Lethbridge & District Exhibition Agri-Food Hub & Trade Centre. Spanning three trade halls, guests will be able to sample hundreds of wines, beers, cocktails, and the best food from Lethbridge’s best restaurants and Southern Alberta local suppliers. Malanka: New Year’s Celebration – January 20, 2024

Also at the Agri-Food Hub & Trade Centre, a celebration of Ukrainian New Year will take place beginning at 4:30. The event will feature music, dancing, cocktails and a silent auction, among others.

Nikka Yuko Winter Light Festival – November 30 – February 24

Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden in Lethbridge is hosting its eighth annual Winter Light Festival. This year, the festival has a ‘Celebration of the Seasons’ theme. The festival will be open Thursdays through Sundays.

Creative Photography For Beginners – January 21, 2024

An introductory class on creative photography is being held on Sunday at the Holiday Inn on Mayor Magrath Drive. The course will go over camera features, techniques, and editing tips. The event begins at 1:00 p.m. and runs for three hours.
