LETHBRIDGE, AB – Here is a preview of some of the events happening in the Lethbridge area this week.

The Owl shows – January 23-25, 2024

The Owl Acoustic Lounge is hosting multiple shows this week as part of their January lineup. The week of shows begins on Tuesday night with Open Mic Night, and continues the next day with Owl Poetry Open Mic night. On Thursday, Jazz Jam performs beginning at 8:30 p.m.

Mental Health in the Workplace – January 24, 2024

The Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce is holding the Mental Health in the Workplace workshop at Lethbridge College. The workshop features presentations and a Keynote address from Ryan Todd. Lunch is provided and information can be found here.

Building Brains Together – January 24, 2024

Building Brains Together has partnered with Lethbridge Housing Authority to provide a weekly outdoor play program at three sites for LHA families. This week’e program takes place on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until 5. Information on the event can be found here.

Drop in Youth Art Program – January 25, 2024

The Galt Museum is continuing to host their Drop in Youth Art Program this week. The program takes place every second and fourth Thursday and allows participants to create and connect with others. Over the course of four months, each participant will work on their chosen medium and showcase their work at a public art gala.

Nikka Yuko Winter Light Festival – November 30 – February 24

Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden in Lethbridge is hosting its eighth annual Winter Light Festival. This year, the festival has a ‘Celebration of the Seasons’ theme. The festival will be open Thursdays through Sundays.
