LETHBRIDGE, AB – The University of Lethbridge Pronghorns have announced that men’s soccer coach Davin Haigh is stepping down from his role.

The Pronghorns made the announcement on January 23, 2024, and said that Haigh will leave the team at the end of the month due to personal reasons.

Haigh joined the Pronghorns as head coach in May of 2022, and helped improve the team from a last-place finish in the 2022-23 season, to earning a playoff spot in 2023-24.

Neil Langevin, Executive Director of Pronghorn Athletics said, “We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Coach Davin Haigh for his commitment to the development and success of our Men’s Soccer team.”

He added, “His leadership and coaching expertise have been instrumental in elevating the team’s performance and fostering a culture of excellence. He was able to shape an established roster to competitive levels in Canada West and our first appearance in the playoffs for a while.”

The Pronghorns have begun the process of finding a new head coach to replace Haigh. Applications can be submitted on the Pronghorns’ website.
