LETHBRIDGE, AB – The City of Lethbridge is asking residents to complete a survey on water conservation.

The City launched the Water Conservation Plan Survey on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 to get feedback on current water conservation efforts, ways to improve conservation and potential incentives.

Manager of Engineering and Environment Mark Svenson said, “We know water conservation efforts vary depending on the unique factors and needs of each household or business. This survey will help us better understand the community’s practices and priorities when it comes to overall water conservation.”

Questions in the survey include current practices and fixtures, such as minimizing shower times and using high efficiency appliances.

Survey results, along with additional community engagement efforts, will help inform the City’s Water Conservation Plan, and will be presented at the April 4, 2024 meeting of the Assets and Infrastructure Standing Policy Committee.

The survey will be able to complete until February 7, 2024.
