LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is asking for the public’s help in their investigation of BB guns being shot.

On January 24, 2024, police received reports that the eastside emergency exit door at Blue Sky Lodge on the 1400 Block of 16 Avenue North had been shot with BB gun rounds.

The incident reportedly occurred during the night of January 22-23.

The LPS said multiple rounds had been fired through the glass, dispersing glass fragments down a hallway. No injuries were reported.

Then, just before 6:30 p.m. on January 23, officers were informed that a window of a home on the 1100 block of 18 A Street North had been shot with a BB round.

Occupants of the home say they heard a loud crack and discovered a hole in their kitchen window. They described seeing a man, approximately six feet tall and dressed in dark clothing and a hat, walking northbound through the alley.

No one in the home was hurt.

Anyone who has observed suspicious activities in these areas is asked to call the LPS at 403-328-4444 and reference file 24001388. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, online at P3Tips.com, or by using the “P3 Tips” mobile app.
