Snowfall warning issued for Southern Alberta

Heavy snowfall is expected in parts of southern Alberta this weekend.

Snow, heavy at times, is expected in parts of southern Alberta beginning Saturday afternoon, and is expected to last until Sunday morning.

According to Environment Canada, 10 to 20 centimeters of snow is expected to fall, with the heaviest accumulations south of a line from Canmore to Okotoks to Bassano.

Visibility may be reduced at times in heavy snow.
