LETHBRIDGE, AB – February is here, and with it, more events are in Lethbridge this weekend, and Lethbridge News Now has the details.

Kodiaks home games – February 2, 2024

The Lethbridge College Kodiaks basketball teams host the SAIT Trojans on Friday, February 2. The women’s team takes the court beginning at 6:00 p.m., and the men’s team starts at 8. The two teams will then head up to Calgary for the second part of the home and home series on Saturday.

2024 Polar Plunge – February 3, 2024

The 2024 Polar Plunge takes place this weekend. The event raises money and awareness for the Special Olympics, and the program begins at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. All participants must be a minimum of 16-years-old and must wear a swimsuit or other clothing. Change tents will be on-site.

Valentine’s Pet Photo Fundraiser – February 3, 2024

Pet Valu on Mayor Magrath Drive is hosting a fundraiser on Saturday. From 11 a.m, until 3 p.m., pet owners can come to the store to get Valentines Day photos taken of their pets, and funds will go to the Windy City Canine Rescue Society.

Lethbridge RV Expo – February 2-4, 2024

The Lethbridge RV Expo is at the Agri-Food Hub & Trade Centre this weekend. The event gives residents the chance to look at hundreds of models with 3 dealers all in 1 location. The Expo runs from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m on Friday and Saturday, and from 10 to 5 on Sunday.

Ice Cream for Breakfast Day – February 3, 2024

Cookie Crimes, in celebration of Ice Cream for Breakfast Day, has an event going on all of Saturday. Seven dollars gets you two heart-shaped waffles and scoop of ice cream from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.

The Sound of Music – February 2-3, 2024

The Lethbridge Symphony, in collaboration with the Little Lethbridge Opera Theatre is performing music from The Sound of Music. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30.
