LETHBRIDGE, AB – There’s plenty of events in Lethbridge this weekend, and Lethbridge News Now has the details.

Rap it Up – February 9, 2024

Leth’s Vibe & Chill: Rap It Up takes place at the Owl Acoustic Lounge on Friday night. The event features a poetry slam and family-friendly rap battle where participants can win prize money, consultations, studio time, and more.

Kodiaks volleyball – February 9-10, 2024

The Lethbridge College Kodiaks volleyball teams are in action tonight, taking on the NAIT Ooks. The women’s game starts at 6, and the men take the court at 8. On Saturday, the two teams face off against Northwestern Polytechnic at the same times.

Night to Shine – February 9, 2024

MyCityCare, in collaboration with the Tim Tebow Foundation, is hosting the Night to Shine event for the sixth year. The event is put on for those with special needs, and features a red carpet, dancing and food.

Motorsports Spectacular – February 9-10, 2024

The Motorsports Spectacular is coming to the ENMAX Centre for three shows on February 9 & 10, 2024. The event has Monster Truck rides, Monster Truck races, and Motocross performances lined up over the three days. Tickets can be found here.

Nikka Yuko Winter Light Festival – November 30 – February 24

Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden in Lethbridge is hosting its eighth annual Winter Light Festival. This year, the festival has a ‘Celebration of the Seasons’ theme. The festival will be open Thursdays through Sundays.

City & Wedding – February 11, 2024

Southern Alberta’s biggest wedding expo is back on February 11 at the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre. The event runs from 11-4, and entrance in to the event.
