LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes have signed 2007-born forward Owen Nelson to a Western Hockey League Scholarship and Development Agreement.
Nelson was listed by the Hurricanes in 2023, but was originally drafted by the Regina Pats in the eighth round in the 2022 WHL Prospects Draft.
Nelson has spent this season with the Prince Albert Mintos U18 AAA team, where he has put up 26 goals and 20 assists for 46 points in 39 games.
The Hurricanes will next play on Friday, February 16 when they welcome the Saskatoon Blades to the ENMAX Centre.
