Charges laid in connection to Raymond robbery

RAYMOND, AB – Two people have been apprehended as the RCMP investigates a robbery in southern Alberta.

On Friday, February 9, 2024, officers responded to a report of a robbery at Southern Community Food Security in Raymond.

The Raymond RCMP alleged that a suspect demanded money from an employee and fled to an awaiting vehicle.

Thanks in part to tips from the public, RCMP searched a home in Magrath, where two suspects were arrested.

Jayme Sheridan, 34, of Magrath, is charged with one count of robbery and disguise with intent.

Megan Sheridan, 36, of Magrath, faces one count of robbery.

Both suspects have been released from custody following bail hearings and are scheduled to appear in the Lethbridge Court of Justice on March 7, 2024.

The Raymond RCMP thanked officers in Cardston and Milk River, as well as the Coaldale Police Dog Services, for their assistance in the investigation.
