City moves parking concerns to 311
LETHBRIDGE, AB – The City of Lethbridge has announced changes for reporting parking-related concerns.
In an attempt to streamline the process, residents will now need to chat with customer service online or call Lethbridge 311.
This change will eliminate the use of the Lethbridge Police Service non-emergency line. However, the non-emergency line is still available for all other services.
Lethbridge Public Safety Communications Centre (PSCC) dispatchers are responsible for monitoring the non-emergency line. According to the city, the PSCC responds to more than 30,000 calls per year, this change will free up time for more urgent matters.
Those calling 311 to report a parking-related concern must be able to provide details and personal information.
