None injured in early morning fire in north Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services responded to a structure fire in north Lethbridge on Thursday, March 14, 2024.
Crews were called to a single-family house along St. Christopher Place at 3:14 a.m, and found smoke coming from the home. Thirteen firefighters controlled the fire and kept it contained to the room where it started.
No injuries to residents or firefighters were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation, but officials believe it was caused by a dryer.
The damage is estimated between $15,000 and $20,000.
