Home, Garden and Leisure Show underway in Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Agri-food Hub and Trade Centre is bustling as the host venue for the Southern Alberta Home, Garden and Leisure Show.

The event, co-presented by BILD – Lethbridge Region and Meibel Consulting, started on Thursday, March 14, 2024 and is on until Saturday, March 16.

It features a variety of exhibitors and appearances from guests such as celebrity chef and baker, Anna Olson, New York Times-bestselling illustrator Kim Smith and Calgary-based author Julie Van Rosendaal.

Olson told Pattison Media, “The show itself is amazing, there is so much to see.”

Bridget Mearns, BILD Lethbridge executive officer says she was very happy to see a strong turnout at the event’s opening day Thursday.

“I can only imagine it gets better from here,” she told Pattison Media.

Mearns adds that adding a leisure section to the showcase this year was a no-brainer.

A student building competition, called ‘Who BILDs it Best?’ is also included as part of the showcase.

More details about the Southern Alberta Home, Garden and Leisure Show are available at the event website. The show is on until Saturday.
