LETHBRIDGE, AB – There are plenty of events in Lethbridge this weekend, and Lethbridge News Now has the details.

Spring Nature Fest – March 15, 2024

The Helen Schuler Nature Centre is holding the Spring Nature Fest on Friday. The event offers a mix of indoor and outdoor activities, including scavenger hunts, building challenges and games. The event is free for drop-in from 1 p.m. until 5. Information on the Nature Fest can be found here.

Lethbridge Hurricanes vs. Red Deer Rebels – March 15, 2024

The Lethbridge Hurricanes are in action on Friday, hosting the Red Deer Rebels at the ENMAX Centre. The game is the penultimate home game for the Hurricanes, who are looking to rebound from a 6-1 loss to the Edmonton Oil Kings on Wednesday. Tickets can be purchased here.

Home, Garden & Leisure Show – March 14-16

The Home, Garden and Leisure Show is ongoing at the Agri-Food Hub & Trade Centre. The show has vendors, displays and activities, and runs until 6:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Shows at the Owl Acoustic Lounge – March 15-16, 2024

The Owl Acoustic Lounge is hosting two shows over the weekend. On Friday night the lounge will have a performance from Junkman’s Choir, a two man band who plays Cajun, country sea shanties, using a variety of instruments. On Saturday, local funk band Adequate will take the stage beginning at 9:00.

Wild Life Film Fest – March 17-22, 2024

The Helen Schuler Nature Centre is hosting a special documentary film festival at the Movie Mill on Sunday. The festival features several films by local wildlife film maker Rick Andrews. A full list of films and information is at the Nature Alberta website.
