Bulls sign UBC catcher Kenny Scott

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Bulls have bolstered their roster ahead of their 25th season by signing a catcher.

Kenny Scott will join the Bulls for the summer season after concluding his year playing for the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds.

The Delta, B.C. native has started 10 out of 14 games so far for the Thunderbirds this season, hitting for a .242 batting average and a solid .406 on-base percentage (OBP), as he has more walks than strikeouts.

Defensively he has been strong for the team, and has thrown out seven runners on 12 stolen base attempts.

Scott will join a Bulls team looking to rebound from their first round sweep by the Sylvan Lake Gulls in the playoffs last season.
