Lethbridge Bulls sign Prairie Baseball Academy’s Dawson Schultz

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Bulls have added a touch of local talent to their 2024 roster.

Dawson Schultz is currently a pitcher for the Prairie Baseball Academy, and also attends Lethbridge College. Schultz previously spent the past two summers playing for his hometown Swift Current 57s.

The 6’4, 215 pound right hander started nine games in 2023, and impressed at the Canadian College World Series in May of 2023. Schultz took the mound against the Vancouver Island University Mariners, pitching seven innings while allowing only one earned run and striking out seven batters.

Schultz has also committed to play for the University of Pikeville Bears for the 2024-25 season.

The 2024 season marks a milestone for the Bulls, as they celebrate their 25th season. They are looking to claim their third Western Canadian Baseball championship since 2015.
