Snowfall warning issued for southern Alberta

LETHBRIDGE, AB – For the second time in as many weeks, a snowfall warning has been issued for parts of southern Alberta.

The Cardston – Fort Macleod – Magrath, Crowsnest Pass – Pincher Creek – Waterton Lakes Nat. Park, Kananaskis – Canmore, and Okotoks – High River – Claresholm regions are expected to receive 10 to 20 centimetres. Heavy snow is expected to develop overnight Wednesday and continue Thursday.

Officials say visibility may be reduced at times due to the snowfall.
