Lethbridge woman charged with drug trafficking
LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) has laid charges in connection to alleged drug trafficking.
On Wednesday, April 3, 2024, members of the Downtown Policing Unit were on bike patrol near the Civic Centre field on the 500 block of 11 Street South. They claim to have seem a woman who was known to have outstanding warrants.
She was arrested on the warrants, and during a subsequent search, the LPS claims to have seized quantities of methamphetamine, pre-packaged doses of fentanyl, loose chunks of fentanyl, drug paraphernalia, a scale with drug residue, and more than $300 in cash.
Police say, “In total, the drugs sized equate to 106 doses of methamphetamine and 44 doses of fentanyl.”
