Raymond RCMP investigating “suspicious occurrence” involving child

RAYMOND, AB – The RCMP is looking to identify a man who was reportedly involved in what they are calling a suspicious occurrence.

At approximately 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, the Raymond RCMP was called to Highway 52 and 100 E.

They say the “Investigation revealed that an unknown male pulled up in a vehicle next to a child and told her to get in the vehicle. When she refused, he turned and went the opposite direction.”

The male driver is described as being in his early-to-mid 20s with a fair complexion and red hair.

The vehicle in question is believed to be a grey/silver SUV with a license plate that potentially contains the characters “CF” and “235”.
