What’s Happening in Lethbridge this week: April 15, 2024

The Galt Museum and Archives is hosting a Ukrainian Easter Celebration on Tuesday evening. The event will feature crafts, pysanky, treats, Troyanda Ukrainian Dance Club demonstrations and a dance workshop. The event runs from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

MAATI – Spring 2024 – April 16, 2024

The Municipal Services Division of Alberta Municipal Affairs is offering training sessions for municipal administrators and staff. This first in-person offering is on Tuesday at the Sandman Signature Lethbridge Lodge. Information on registration can be found here.

Gomorrah – Theatre Outre – April 18, 2024

Lethbridge’s beloved improvised Soap Opera Gomorrah returns to the stage on Thursday at the Good Times Comedy Club. The show, which is put on by Theatre Outre, is on the third Thursday of every month, and the doors open at 6:30. The performance begins at 7.

Bletcher Hour – April 18, 2024

The Southern Alberta Art Gallery is hosting Bletcher Hour virtually on Thursday featuring guest Tanya Lukin Linklater. Linklater is an artist, choreographer, and poet who had her work featured in SAAG’s My mind is with the weather exhibition last year. She will be reading a selection from the recently published exhibition catalog of the same name. Registration information is at SAAG’s website.
