LETHBRIDGE, AB – There are some fun events in the Lethbridge area this weekend, and Lethbridge News Now has the details.

Lobsterfest 2024 – April 19, 2024

A Celebration of Eastern Canadian traditions is being held at the Sandman Signature Lethbridge Lodge on Friday night. Lobsterfest 2024 is a night of live music and dancing, Lobster and Prime Rib dinner, door prizes, a 50/50, silent and live auction, and more. More information can be found here.

Coaldale Fun Run – April 20, 2024

The annual Coaldale Family 5K Fun Run is set for Saturday, April 20. For every entry, $2 will be donated to the Rehoboth Christian Ministries, which is a charitable organization dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities and their families. It kicks off at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Coaldale Christian School.

Earth Day – April 20, 2024

The City of Lethbridge is celebrating Earth Day, which takes place on Monday, April 22, with some activities on Saturday. among the event is a community litter cleanup, and lessons on composting and mulching. Volunteers and city staff members will be on-site to give information. The event takes place at Legacy Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

City & Baby Trade Show – April 20, 2024

The City & Baby Trade Show is at the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. The event features local vendors, coffee and treats, and baby stations. Photos and information can be found here.

I Hear Abel Singin in the Field – April 21-25

Experience Theatre is running its debut show called I Hear Abel Singin’ in the Field, written by local playwright Jess Syratt, beginning on Sunday. Syratt described her show as “A love story to Still Stands the House, meets the biblical Cain and Abel.” Tickets for the show can be purchased at the Experience Theatre website.
