LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Bulls are adding a homegrown arm to their pitching staff.

Levi Abbott will join the Bulls for a second stint in the 2024 summer season. The 6’3 Lethbridge native previously pitched for the Bulls in the 2021 season and shined in a starting role. He started seven games and had a 4-2 record with a 2.89 earned run average (ERA). He struck out 66 batters in 43.2 innings pitched, good for a rate of 13.6 strikeouts per nine innings.

Abbott currently plays for the Canisius University Griffins in Buffalo, New York, and spent the last two summer seasons with the Victoria HarbourCats of the West Coast League.

Abbott will join a Bulls team looking to claim their third championship title in their 25 year history. The Bulls were swept by the Sylvan Lake Gulls in the first round of the playoffs last season.
