Coaldale RCMP looking for suspect in hit and run

COALDALE, AB – Coaldale RCMP is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect in a hit and run.

On April 8, 2024, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Coaldale RCMP were notified of a hit and run in the McDonalds drive-thru.

Police say an investigation revealed that the suspect backed into another vehicle and then fled the scene. He is described as:

• Male between 50 and 60 years old
• He was wearing a plaid jacket, black hat and white shirt
• Driving a 1997-2004 Dodge Dakota; Grey/Silver in color
