Hurricanes sign 2007-born forward Cameron Norrie

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes have signed 2007-born forward Cameron Norrie to a Western Hockey League (WHL) Scholarship and Development Agreement.

Norrie was undrafted in the WHL Prospects Draft, and returned to play for the RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna U18 team for the 2023-24 season.

In 30 games with the team, Norrie scored 16 goals and added 18 assists for 34 points, puting him fourth in team scoring. He continued his strong performance into the postseason, with five points in four games.

Norrie also helped his team to a semi-final appearance at the 2023-24 Circle-K Classic in Calgary, chipping in four assists in five games.

The 6’1 left winger joins fellow 2007-born players Will Sharpe, Kash Andresen, Koen Cleaver, Carson Adair and Owen Nelson in signing with the Hurricanes.
