Three charged in Pincher Creek following weapons call

PINCHER CREEK, AB – Three people have been charged following an alleged incident in southern Alberta this week.

The Pincher Creek RCMP says during the morning hours of April 22, 2024, officers responded to a complaint of a dispute involving multiple people outside a home in the community.

The RCMP says it was reported that a firearm was involved, and one person was almost run over by a vehicle. Police attended the scene and made several arrests. The RCMP notes that “numerous weapons” were seized, as well as methamphetamines and cocaine.

Two 41-year-old men, both residents of Pincher Creek, have been charged.

Brandon Ouellette is charged with:

  • Assault with a weapon
  • Resisting arrest
  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Possession of prohibited weapons
  • Possession of a controlled substance

He is due to appear in court on June 6.

Meanwhile, Garret Ouellette is charged with:

  • Assault with a weapon
  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Possession of prohibited weapons
  • Possession of a controlled substance
  • Failing to comply with a release order

He is scheduled to appear in court on April 25.

Additionally, a 67-year-old female resident of Pincher Creek is charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. The woman, who RCMP did not name, is due in court on May 23.
