LETHBRIDGE, AB – The University of Lethbridge (U of L) is asking for input on its new comprehensive strategic plan.

President and vice-chancellor Dr. Digvir Jayas says the plan will “help address the changing landscape of post-secondary education provincially, nationally and globally, and respond to the evolving opportunities and challenges for the University of Lethbridge”.

“Our goal is to create a shared vision for the University, and it’s essential for community members to add their voices to the conversation,” he adds.

An online survey is available, where southern Albertans can share their thoughts about the future of the post-secondary.

COMMUNITY CONVERSATION

The U of L will be a part of the upcoming ‘Community Conversation’, hosted by the City of Lethbridge on April 25, 2024 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the ENMAX Centre.

The event will give people the chance to touch base with representatives in the community about different projects and initiatives.

Dr. Jayas says the U of L was “founded by citizens”.

“Community members have helped shape what the University is today and have an important perspective to share to help shape our future.”
