LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Whoop-Up Days parade is set to entertain Lethbridge on August 20, 2024.

Applications are now open for those that want to participate in the parade, which serves as a kick-off to the annual festival in the city every summer.

Officials say the theme for the 2024 parade is ‘Grow Up Western’.

“People of many different backgrounds make up southern Alberta, but they all share the essence of Western culture and spirit that runs deep within those who call this area home,” reads the application form from Lethbridge & District Exhibition.

The parade is expected to follow its traditional route, starting at Park Place Mall and traveling along 3 Avenue South and 13 Street North, ending at Galbraith Elementary School.
