LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Farmers’ Market is returning for 2024.

The weekly market will run at the Lethbridge & District Agri-Food Hub & Trade Centre every Saturday beginning on June 8 and running until October 12. 2024 marks the first year the market will be at its new venue.

The market is the city’s only Alberta approved farmers’ market, which means at least 80 per cent of the market is devoted to products made, baked or grown in Alberta.

Paul Kingsmith, Director of Community Engagement for Lethbridge & District Exhibition (LDE) says, “The Lethbridge Farmers’ Market has been a staple for Lethbridge & District Exhibition since 1971. It is core to our agricultural values, and helps to highlight the incredible farmers, producers, artisans and craftspeople in our region.”

In addition, LDE and the Downtown Business Revitalization Zone (BRZ) have announced that the Wednesday Downtown Lethbridge Farmers’ Market will also return. It will run every Wednesday from July 3 to September 4 at Festival Square.

Vendor applications are now open for anyone wishing to be a part of the weekly market. Anyone looking for more information or to register can go to the Agri-Food Hub website.
