Fire ban lifted in Lethbridge River Valley

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The public can return to having safe outdoor fires in the coulees.

Due to the recent changes in weather, the City of Lethbridge has lifted the fire ban that had been in place in the River Valley.

However, residents are still asked to use clean and dry wood when having fires and to ensure the fire is completely extinguished before leaving.

Smokers are also advised to be extra cautious when disposing of smoking materials.
