Residents advised of police cadet shooting drill Friday afternoon and evening

LETHBRIDGE, AB – You might hear loud banging in the city Friday afternoon and into the evening.

The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) says cadets will be training.

Officials say from 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., the cadets will participate in a low light/no light shooting exercise at the Police Range.

People in the area can expect to hear shots being fired, but should not be alarmed as this is part of regular training.
