Part two of bike lane safety video series released by City of Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The second video in a series highlighting bike lane safety tips is out.

The City of Lethbridge teamed up with the Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) to produce a two-part video series offering up safety tips for both cyclists and motorists. The videos were filmed downtown to show residents how to safely navigate the bike lane network.

Officials say signaling, being visible and aware help to maintain safe and courteous traffic flow for both drivers and those on bicycles.

Sergeant Ryan Darroch of the LPS Downtown Police Unit is featured in the videos offering tips. The unit often patrols the area on bicycles.
