LETHBRIDGE, AB – There are plenty of events this long weekend, and Lethbridge News Now has the details.

Food Truck Fridays and Vendor Market – May 17, 2024

Food Truck Fridays returns to Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden on Friday. The trucks and market will bet at the garden every Friday until mid September.

Dan Duvall – May 17-18, 2024

Dan Duvall, a comedian from Victoria, is playing two shows this weekend at the Good Times Comedy Club. He plays Friday and Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. His work has appeared on channels including appearing on Cartoon Network Canada and Adult Swim, and he was on shows including Just for Laughs Vancouver. Tickets can be purchased here.

Discover Downtown Day – May 18, 2024

AAC Works is hosting an exciting scavenger hunt event in collaboration with Cookie Crimes on Saturday. Participants will embark on a journey through downtown Lethbridge with the chance to win Cookie Crimes ice cream for a year. There will also be live music starting at noon.

Southern Winds Mix & Mingle – May 18, 2024

The Southern Winds Mix & Mingle is taking place at Festival Square on Saturday. The event will feature musicians from Southern Winds and the University of Lethbridge Wind Orchestra Alumni, and there will be food. Those interested can reserve a spot here.

Telus Wag & Walk – May 19, 2024

The Agri-Food Hub and Trade Centre is hosting the first annual Telus Wag & Walk on Sunday morning at 9:00. The event will have dog lovers and walkers meet to do a walk around Henderson Lake. There is no charge for entry, but participants are asked to bring a non-perishable food item or dog food/treats to support those in need and our local animal shelters.
