LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Bulls are preparing to kick off their 2024 season on Saturday, May 25.

The Bulls begin their season away from home with a nine game road trip beginning in Okotoks before heading into Saskatchewan. The team will finish their road trip on June 4 in Brooks, and will host the Medicine Hat Mavericks for their home opener the following day.

The trip will see the team shorthanded as some players have not arrived from their college teams, but pitcher Cole Alguire says he’s confident the coaching staff will handle the short room well.

2024 marks a milestone for the club, as they celebrate their 25th season. Head coach Ryan MacDonald said, “Its exciting, 25 years in this league is just awesome to build a fanbase and continue that tradition as well.”

The team is looking to return to the playoffs after they made it last year, but were unfortunately swept in the first round by the Sylvan Lake Gulls. The team has seen some success in recent years, winning the league championship in 2015 and 2021.

Alguire says he feels good about the team’s makeup this year.

Tickets for Bulls game can be purchased at the team website.
