Driver injured in chuckwagon crash in Grande Prairie
His family says in a social media post that wagon driver Gage Flad suffered some serious injuries in a wagon crash in Grande Prairie.
Gage was driving his wagon during the fourth heat on Sunday at the Grande Prairie Stompede. He fell out of the wagon going into turn 1 shortly after the wagons left the infield.
The post from his dad Troy says Gage has a broken neck with a spinal injury, four broken toes on his left foot, plus cuts and bruises.
The younger Flad was airlifted to Edmonton for treatment.
