South Lethbridge school gets significant gift from Costco

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Students at a local school are celebrating after receiving a big gift.

On Thursday, June 6, 2024, learners gathered outside of Lakeview Elementary School in south Lethbridge to mark Spirit Day, a part of Lakeview Days.

However, what they were not expecting was a surprise from Costco.

Principal Connie Adserballe and members of the Lakeview staff revealed to students that Costco donated $650 to the school to buy new supplies for recess.

Additionally, Costco is also donating a new backpack to every student at the school.
