Drivers advised of upcoming road milling closures and detours

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Crews will start road milling in north Lethbridge this week.

The City of Lethbridge says milling will occur on sections of 26 Avenue North and 28 Street North, starting June 10, 2024.

Motorists can expect some temporary detours and traffic control in the following areas:

Monday, June 10

• The westbound lanes of 26 Avenue North will be closed from 28 Street North until the first shopping center access point to the east.

Tuesday, June 11

• The westbound lanes of 26 Avenue North will be closed from Bluefox Boulevard North to 28 Street North.

Wednesday, June 12

• The northbound lanes on 28 Street North from 26 Avenue North to 30 Avenue North/Grizzly Road North.

Drivers are asked to watch out for workers, slow down in work areas, and follow all signage.
