Two dead following weekend collision near Lundbreck

CROWSNEST PASS, AB – The RCMP is investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision.

The Crowsnest Pass detachment, with help from the Pincher Creek RCMP, responded to a collision between a minivan and motorcycle on Saturday, June 8, 2024.

Police say it happened on Highway 3A near Lundbreck.

Officials note a motorcycle carrying two people hit a minivan head-on as it rounded a curve in the road. The motorcycle’s driver, a 59-year-old man, and a 43-year-old female passenger, died as a result of the collision.

The RCMP says both deceased were from the Lethbridge area.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
