Registration open for Miners Days Parade in Coalhurst

COALHURST, AB – Anyone looking to be a part of the Miners Days Parade in Coalhurst can now apply to do so. The parade will take place on Saturday, July 27, 2024.

Entry to the parade is free, but the Town says pre-registration is required.

Community groups, organizations, businesses, government officials and municipalities, as well as individual residents can participate.

The parade will start at 10:30 a.m., and prizing will be awarded in the following categories:

• Best overall entry
• Children’s entry (decorated bikes, Girl Guides, Scouts, etc.)
• Commercial float
• Municipal float
• Vehicle entry (classic, antique, unique and agricultural)
• Group entry (non-profit group, animals, musical, etc.)

The parade lineup and registration will happen from 8 until 9:30 a.m., following a pancake breakfast at the Coalhurst Community Centre.
