LETHBRIDGE, AB – There are plenty of events in Lethbridge this weekend, and Lethbridge News Now has the details.

Paranormal Cirque – June 13-16, 2024

Prepare to be spooked and amazed as Cirque Italia brings its Paranormal Cirque show to Lethbridge this month. Performances will be held in a big top tent in the parking lot of the ENMAX Centre from June 13 to 16. The show features acts like a magician and a motorcycle balancing on a high wire. Tickets can be purchased at the show’s website.

Food Truck Fridays – Every Friday

Get your favourite Food Truck meals just outside Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden in the parking area every Friday except June 21 and July 19. There are tons of trucks for food both sweet and savoury from noon until 8:00 p.m. Information on the trucks can be found here.

World Elder Abuse Awareness Day – June 14, 2024

The Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization is hosting their World Elder Abuse Awareness Day event on Friday. The event includes a seniors talent show, and runs from 1:00 to 3:30.

6th Street Block Party – June 15, 2024

The 6th Street Block Party is back in downtown Lethbridge! The event returns for a second year on Saturday in Festival Square. It’ll feature live music and showcase local businesses, food vendors and more.

Lethbridge Filipino Heritage Festival – June 15-16, 2024

The Lethbridge Filipino Heritage Festival takes place this weekend at Henderson Lake Park. The celebration of culture, local talents and the whole Lethbridge community is on all day on Saturday and Sunday, and features multiple musical performances. Tickets can be bought here.

Kidney Walk – June 15, 2024

On Saturday at Henderson Lake Park, community members will gather to walk in Lethbridge in support of those affected by kidney disease for The Kidney Foundation of Canada Southern Alberta’s annual Kidney Walk. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. and the walk begins at 10. The walk begins at the horseshoe pits.

Mediaslaves – June 16, 2024

Vancouver-based punk band Mediaslaves is performing Sunday at the Slice Bar and Grill. The band’s website describes their sound as an explosive blend of aggression, melody and catchiness. The show begins at 3:00 p.m.
